Melissa brings more than 20 years of experience serving seniors and their families. She began her career at just 17 years old as a receptionist in a skilled nursing setting, where she quickly discovered her passion for caring for and serving older adults. During this time, she was studying and obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. Melissa came to Florida with her family at 4 years old, and loves having grown up on the Gulf Coast!

Throughout her career, Melissa has held leadership roles in Social Services, Sales and Marketing, and Senior Living Operations. Since 2015 she has served in Executive Director roles in all settings, Independent, Assisted, and Memory care living environments. Most recently over the last 7 years she has opened and operated 2 very large Senior Living communities in Sarasota County. She is especially proud of achieving deficiency free AHCA survey results since becoming an administrator. This accomplishment is one that reflects her commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional care.

Melissa finds great joy in helping others, building strong teams, and creating meaningful relationships and experiences for seniors and their families. She is passionate about helping others find joy and purpose throughout every stage of life and believes every senior deserves to feel valued, respected, and cared for.

Outside of her professional life, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, three beautiful children and pets. Melissa and her family enjoy boating, shelling, and cheering one another on at the kids sporting events. She also serves as a small group leader at the Bridge Church Venice with teenage young ladies.

Above all, Melissa has an incredible passion for people and has dedicated her life to serving others. Her experience, leadership, and heart for seniors allow her to guide families through one of life’s most important decisions with compassion, understanding, and genuine care.
