Very soon after I called I got a call from Megan at Golden Girls. She got on it right away and sent me data sheets on 4-5 facilities that were possibilities. I toured 4 facilities with Megan but when the nurse came out to assess my husband they thought he would need more assistance then they would be able to give. I was getting very discouraged because the only place I knew he would get the care he needed was about an hour away in congested traffic.
